Baystars FC Wahoo, the newest all-girls U10 team, celebrated its first victory on Saturday, with an impressive 5-0 win over Chesapeake.
The match highlighted the incredible team work that led to this win. Cecilia Andrews opened the scoring sending the ball into the net halfway through the first half to give Baystars a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, Isabel Alderman struck twice, swiftly extending the advantage. Ava Payne followed suit, delivering two more well-placed shots sealing the team’s dominance.
Mireya Marsh and Reagan Hartman took turns guarding the goal, each securing a shut out in their respective halves, with defense standing strong to protect their lead.
This match was a testament to the team’s outstanding communication and passing, setting the tone for what’s to come.

The Baystar U11 Tiger Sharks won against the Old Dominion Soccer Club 4-3 on Saturday at Woodville Park.
Brayden Barlett scored three goals and Easton Wilke scored one goal.
