The Baystars Kraken baseball team added two more wins to the season on Sunday, beating the Williamsburg Revolution, 15-2, and Canes Coastal, 8-7.
In the first game, Jackson Koch started the game on the mound against the Revolution. Koch pitched for three innings, striking out five and allowing only one hit. At the plate, Koch walked twice and recorded an RBI double. Waylon Foster had three hits and two RBIs. Joey Chwalik was three-for-three at the plate with two doubles and three RBIs. Mikey Burr had two hits in the game.
In game two, Conner Alcock started on the mound for the Kraken, pitching six innings. He had five strikeouts and allowed three earned runs. The tight game was tied, 5-5, at the start on the final inning, the Canes put two runs on the board to take the lead, but were unable to stop the Kraken from making a comeback. Christiano Oliver, Koch and Chwalik each batted in a runner to put three runs on the board for the win.
