The Baystars Captains 11U soccer team started its season with a 5-1 victory over Beach FC Barcelona on Saturday. Owen Thomas put up a hat trick with assists from Tyler Byrne. The other two goals were scored by Dean Christensen. Goalkeeper Liam Tiller gave up only one goal. The defense of Shane Mosher, Brek Chavis and Austin Sutton was also key to the Captains’ success.
