Brian Bayford, vice president of Water Pro at James Store, has been elected first vice president of the Eastern Water Quality Association.
Bayford said he recently began serving his third, two-year term on the association board. He was selected first vice president over two other candidates.
Jaimie Kirlin, president of Advanced Water Resources, Inc., in Temple, Pa., was elected president of the association. Bayford said the association’s members include those in the waterworks, water purification, and allied equipment fields plus some foreign suppliers.
One of Bayford’s goals is to promote high ethics for the water purification industry. He said that purified water—without the chemicals found in many water supplies—is often sought by individuals and businesses, and is especially popular among restaurants.
