Bay Transit, the public transportation division of Bay Aging, will begin operating its popular Bay Transit Express ride hailing program in an expanded service area beginning Tuesday morning, now serving Gloucester Point.
Bay Transit Express is a shared ride service that picks up riders when they want and will soon transport them safely and efficiently anywhere from Gloucester Point to the Gloucester Court House area. Using the free Bay Transit Express app, customers can securely and conveniently book trips straight from their phone and get picked up in minutes. Bay Transit Express operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and rides throughout the expanded service zone will only be $1 per person.
