Tickets are now available for the Bay School Community Arts Center’s Portuguese Progressive Wine Dinner, to be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, in the gallery on Main Street and at the White Dog Bistro on Church Street.According to a notice, the evening will begin with “a glass of bubbly” and appetizers at the Bay School, then at 6:10 p.m. will proceed to the White Dog for dinner and dessert.
Dinner will be a five-course Portuguese tapas-style dinner, said the notice. It will include two glasses of Portuguese wine, and the cash bar will be open.
Tickets are $135 per person for non-members and $125 for members. They may be purchased online by visiting e.givesmart.com/events/Gf0.
The menu
The menu will consist of a soup course of Caldo Verde, a salad course of an Algarvian-styled salad, and two main courses—a selection of Arroz de Pato with Duck and a seafood selection of Cailderada de Piexe. Dessert will be Pastel de Nata.
Vegan options will be available for all courses.
