A Hocus Pocus Halloween Party will be held from 5:30-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, in the Bay School backyard at 279 Main Street in Mathews.
The event will include fun for the family, said a press release, with food, drinks, popcorn, candy, an outdoor screening of the movie “Hocus Pocus,” spooky music, Halloween crafts, a costume contest, and the Hocus Pocus exhibit in the gallery.
Trick-and-Trunk-or-Treating will occur in the Art Speaks Gallery and the backyard from 5:30-6:45 p.m., followed by the costume contest, and then the movie at 7 o’clock.
“Bring your boo,” along with lawn chairs and/or blankets, said a press release. Heaters will be set up, but those attending should make sure they’re dressed warmly enough when sitting still during the movie.
The event is free to Bay School members and children, with a $5 charge for adult non-members. Candy, treats, and soft drinks are included, while vendor food and alcoholic drinks will have an additional charge.
