Bay School to hold Family Art Festival June 3

The Bay School Community Arts Center is hosting a Family Art Festival from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, at Sunrise Farm, the East River home of Mel and Sonia Schursky. There will be a variety of activities, along with entertainment and food.
Art and craft activities will take place throughout the event, along with guided yoga, karate, a drum circle, and other activities, said a press release.
Guests can add to a pre-drawn community painting, “Islands of Art,” sketched out by Bay School artist Virginia Coyle. Last year’s painting has been printed as a poster and is featured on this year’s event T-shirt.
Shane Norris will take the stage from 4-7 p.m. to provide live classic rock and country music. Positive Pizza and Dot’s Dogs food trucks will be on-site, and beer from Gloucester Brewing Company will be available for purchase. In addition, Bay School volunteers will host a dessert table.
