A four-week class, Intermediate Wheel Throwing—Plates, is being offered on Thursdays from Aug. 8-29 at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews. The hours are 5:30-8:30 p.m.
The class is for students ages 18 and older who want to improve their throwing skills to make consistently sized sets of dinner plates, smaller plates, and platters, said a press release.
Students should bring their own tools, buckets, aprons, and towels. Tools are available, if needed. While enrolled in the class, students may use the facilities during open studio time to practice.
The course cost is $210.
