Bay School features work of Gib Pulley

The Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews is featuring longtime gallery artist Gib Pulley of Gwynn’s Island. Her watercolors will be on display at the Bay School throughout May.
Pulley’s love of waterfowl, people, and color are captured in her paintings. A native of Petersburg, Pulley graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She began painting in 1979, when she studied under Bill Martz, Betty Schutz and David Daniels. Her paintings reflect the Chesapeake Bay, including beach people, children and waterfowl.
Pulley exhibits locally at the Bay School and surrounding areas such as Gloucester and Williamsburg. She and her husband, Wayne, have four children and 10 grandchildren.
