Bay School Artisan Market held during Open Studio Tour

The Bay School Community Arts Center will host its annual Holiday Artisan Market during the Made in Mathews Open Studio Tour, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29 and 30, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Nine vending artists will be set up, offering such creations as wall art, pottery, jewelry, baskets, hooked rugs, glass art, Christmas goods, and more, said a press release.
Also, shoppers will be able to see the new winter/spring 2020 class catalog, meet the instructors, and sign up to enter a raffle for a gift certificate toward a class.
Also in December, the Bay School will have its annual fundraising event, Empty Bowls, a soup lunch benefiting Hands Across Mathews. Empty Bowls will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8. Tickets will be sold at the Bay School or reserved online, beginning Nov. 29.
