Finley Basta of Gloucester caught two citation-size sheepshead on Aug. 11, qualifying for recognition in the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament.
Both fish were caught at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, according to the Aug. 28 issue of vasaltwaterjournal.com. One weighed 14 pounds and measured 25.5 inches; the second was 11 pounds, four ounces, measuring 24 inches.

Scott Seuferling of Glou-cester, 46-inch black drum caught and released Aug. 11 in Ware River;
Shawn Skay of Hayes, 11-pound, 9-ounce sheepshead, 24 inches long, caught Aug. 18 at Back River Artificial Reef; and,Chris Caner of Hayes, 4-pound, 26-inch Spanish mackerel caught Aug. 17 while trolling in the Chesapeake Bay.
