The Barks and Wiggles Mobile Grooming van is now making its way through the community to give local dogs a fresh look.
Owner Heather Robinson recently moved to Mathews County from Chesapeake and brought her mobile grooming business with her. Barks and Wiggles caters to most dogs, but Robinson said she puts an emphasis on grooming the good boys and girls that have special needs.
Robinson first started Barks and Wiggles in 2021 and offered services throughout Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Her recent move however has shifted her area of coverage to bring her 15 years of experience to Mathews, Gloucester, Middlesex, White Stone, Irvington and other neighboring localities.
When Robinson worked for pet grooming salons in the past, she said they would turn away dogs that suffered from disabilities such as severe anxiety, skin conditions, heart conditions, collapsed tracheas, and aggressive behavior.
