Come on Barbie, let’s go party! Gloucester County Public Library held a Barbie Blast event Saturday at its Main Street Center location, welcoming 190 Barbies and Kens of all ages to get their photo taken in the Barbie box, enter to win prizes, walk the pink carpet, and receive a swag bag. Above, Daffodil Festival Little Miss Kate Hunter and event coordinator Lisa Thomas, the library’s adult programs coordinator, greet the Barbies and Kens. Thomas said that both adults and children were excited and happy when they arrived, everyone enjoyed the doll display and many checked out Barbie books.
