A funeral service for Barbara Jean Wyatt of Gloucester, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Smithfield Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.

She was a native of Gloucester County and a member of Smithfield Baptist Church, where she served in the choir, in culinary and as a Willing Worker.

She was a graduate of T.C. Walker School, and was employed at Heron Cove as a CNA at her passing.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Herbert Wyatt; siblings, Christine Nichols, Everett Miller, Burnetta Lee-Mason, Richard Miller, all of Gloucester; Marion Drummond and Maria Driver of Philadelphia, Pa.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Howard Funeral Home, Ark. Mrs. Wyatt will lie in state from noon until service time on Saturday. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
