Barbara Frey, 82, of Port Haywood, died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, in Walter Reed Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gloucester.

She was born in Maryland on July 8, 1942 to William and Mildred Callis. She was a graduate of Adelphi University and retired in 2008 from the City of Newport News-Waterworks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Felix Frey.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Thomas Frey of Port Haywood.

Services will be private.
