Barbara Ann (Baldwin) Wiener, 78, of Gloucester, Va., passed away on November 30, 2023. She was born on November 19, 1945, in Woodbury, N.J., to George and Eleanore Baldwin. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Karen Robertson (Chris) of Saluda, Va.; son, Bobby Wiener (Lisa) of West Long Branch, N.J.; granddaughters, Ariana Dorr (Morgan) of Bangor, Maine, and Hannah Giovetsis of Minotola, N.J.; sisters, Jane Kaminski of National Park, N.J., and Ellen Boulden of Brooklawn, N.J.; brother, Jim Baldwin of Westville, N.J.; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as the dozens of her children’s and grandchildren’s friends that she loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert; parents, George and Eleanore Baldwin and brother, Tom Baldwin, all of Gloucester City, N.J.; brothers-in-law, Harry Boulden of Brooklawn, N.J., and Larry Kaminski of National Park, N.J., and sister-in-law, Maureen Baldwin of Westville, N.J.
Barbara attended Gloucester City Jr./Sr. High School in Gloucester City, N.J., and was an active member of Newington Baptist Church in Gloucester, Va. She was a voracious reader, enjoyed sewing, cooking, working at the church’s charity Clothes Closet, and was a member of WMU. Barbara’s beautiful voice could often be heard in the church choir.
A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at Newington Baptist Church in Gloucester, on December 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester, is assisting with the arrangements.
Barbara Wiener will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
