Ballast Band to give virtual performance Sunday

The Ballast Band will give a virtual performance from the Flat Iron Crossroads stage in Gloucester at 3 p.m. Sunday. The performance will be aired on Facebook. The venue itself will not be open to the public.
“Sweet unplugged simplicity will offer a unique experience with this well-known ‘four-piece rock ensemble’” said a press release, “and all from the comfort of your home.”
The band plans to perform for a couple of hours, so viewers are encouraged to “crank up the volume and grab your snacks and beverages for a great afternoon.”
Last Sunday, Flat Iron Crossroads hosted Good Shot Judy for a streaming performance on Facebook, and other bands are expected to perform in the future.
