Baking with love builds up a good business

Leaving Nottoway County, Larry and Rebecca Wilson bought property and built their home overlooking a pond in Middlesex County. At this place, Becky’s Lovin’ Oven was created around ten years ago. “I never dreamed it would become such a good business as it is today,” Rebecca commented.
It all began at Rebecca’s hair salon. She made small wrapped sweets that were available for the customers. It proved to be successful. After the couple joined the Moose Lodge and a couple of members had tasted Rebecca’s chocolate éclairs, the rest is history.
Today Becky’s portfolio offers 36 9-inch cake listings, 24 pie listings, 19 cheesecake listings and 14 pastry and cookie listings. Her order book shows that pies and cakes tie in popularity. However, Rebecca was quick to say, “I do not make wedding cakes.” And Larry added, “I don’t do any baking. I’m the label maker, chauffeur, toter, and go-fer. I just do what I am told.” Deliveries are made on Mondays and Saturdays.
