Toyota Lexus Minority Owners Dealership Association teamed up with the Gloucester Salvation Army on Saturday at Gloucester Toyota to hand out 100 backpacks to local children of families dealing with financial burden during the back-to-school season. Similar events are taking place over the next few weeks at 43 minority-owned Toyota Lexus dealerships nationwide, said a press release. Each backpack came stocked with supplies procured by Walmart and tailored to the specific grade levels of the recipients, along with a $10 Walmart gift card.
