Award-winning floral designer togive presentation in Gloucester

The Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews will host a flower-arranging presentation and afternoon party on Thursday, March 13, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester, 6894 Main Street. This is a ticketed event, and is open to the public.
Award-winning horticulturist, lecturer and designer David Pippin brings inspired creativity along with humor, as he creates arrangements that will be given away after his presentation, a release stated. The party starts with dessert and prosecco. Pippin’s presentation begins at 3. Each attendee will receive one ticket at check-in to be included in the drawings of up to six floral arrangements.
The Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews is raising money for its continued gifts to the community in honor of its 100th anniversary in 2028. “It is particularly gratifying to bring these important events to our community which allow our club to ‘give back’ to the community,” said Ways and Means chair Cheryl Woodward.
