‘Autumn’s Song’ festival to benefit G-M Humane Society

C.A. & J. Farm will hold “Autumn’s Song,” an Herb Farm and Acoustic Music Festival from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. at the farm located at 5620 East River Road at Bohannon (turn at Foster P.O.)
The event is being held as a fundraiser for the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society with $5 of every $20 ticket (for ages 12 and up) going to the animal shelter. Only 200 tickets will be made available; none will be sold at the festival.
The program will begin with the playing of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at 10:45, with bands beginning at 11. Five local acts are scheduled to perform—Bill Gurley & Family, Lana Puckett & Kim Person, “Two Timin’ Susan” with Susan and Walt Stillman and Lloyd Binger, Carolyn August and Dave Shuber.
A bonfire will be going all day, with a drum circle at 4.
