Ashley Nichole Chapman, 25, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. She was born in Newport News, Va., and was a lifelong resident of Gloucester. She was an avid archer.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lorena Cooke, and is survived by her parents, Shelia M. McKinney and Jeff Chapman; step-father, Larry McKinney; grandparents, John and Mary Chapman; her boyfriend, Isaac Whittaker, and her favorite kitty, “Baby.”

A Celebration of Ashley’s Life will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester. Memorial donations may be made to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
