Arvid L. Reedy Jr., 76, a resident of West Point for over 25 years, died Friday, May 4, 2012.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and loved hunting, NASCAR, and the outdoors.  

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Virginia Higgins and a granddaughter, Christina Marie Webb.

He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Sue Davis and husband Charlie, and Constance M. Junkins and husband Butch; three grandchildren, Dwayne, Frankie and Tammy; five great-grandchildren, and best friend and cousin, Junie Montgomery.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. in the Bay Aging Community Hall in West Point.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
