Arts on Main to hold April First Friday program

Arts on Main will hold its April First Friday from 6-8 p.m. tomorrow at the arts venue on Main Street in Gloucester. It is free and open to the public. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Art in a variety of mediums by Jane Aman will be featured. A native of Richmond and graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s MFA in painting and printmaking program, Aman’s work includes oils, pastels, screen printing, and wire sculpture.
Aman has taught at John Tyler Community College and Richard Bland College and has been represented by galleries in Washington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, Florida, North Carolina, and Richmond.
Live music will be provided by Louis Vangieri, who plays a blend of folk, country swing, pop-rock, traditional, soft jazz, new age, and classical songs, as well as folk and original instrumental works on his acoustic guitar. He records and performs in Williamsburg.
