Arts on Main in Gloucester has issued a call for entries for the annual Juried Exhibition, to be held Oct. 7-28. Winners will receive cash prizes.
Original works in any medium, both two and three-dimensional, are eligible, and there are no size or subject constraints. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
The work must be ready to hang and suitably framed or finished, and a short bio of the artist and artist statement should be included.
The Early Bird submission fee is $25 for three works until July 24. Afterward, the fee will be $35 for three works. Entry fees are non-refundable. A digital image should be included with each entry and emailed to adminassistant@gloucesterarts.org. Mailed entries should be sent to 6580 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
All submissions will be juried in digital format. No work should be taken to the gallery.
The final deadline for submissions is Monday, Aug. 28, at 5 p.m., and notification of acceptance to the show will be emailed on Sept. 11....
