Arts on Main is offering a series of summer camps beginning in July at its Gloucester Main Street gallery. Taught by the group’s regular instructor, Ellen Walter, these camps encourage imaginative creativity and personal expression.
Day camps
“Steam Camp” will be offered twice, on Monday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp is for those who are curious about electrical circuits and how they make things work. Participants will make a squishy circuit animal and a paper circuit bouquet of flowers. All supplies and a snack are provided for $25 per person per class.
“Seaside Art” will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Monday, July 16. The camp celebrates our love of the beach. Participants create a fish from bubble wrap, a seashell turtle, mermaid slime and sand clay handprint art. All supplies and a nautical snack are included for $20 per person.
