Arts in the Middle Festival to be held June 3-4

The Arts in the Middle Juried Fine Arts Festival returns to historic Hewick Plantation near Urbanna on June 3 and 4.
The ninth annual arts extravaganza provides a variety of fine visual, performing and culinary arts for all ages.
The festival features juried visual artists from up and down the East Coast and beyond, plus local and student artist galleries. Two stages offer an array of musicians including local favorites Beth Justice, Clayton Neal, and the Tom Euler Trio. Local culinary artist Adam Ginsberg with SouperChefG’s Homemade Soups and Private Chef Service will offer breakfast and lunch.
A full slate of writers will also participate. On Saturday, June 4, participating writers include Bob Kunzinger, David Howell, Liz Lovell Young, Mary Bush Shipko, Leslie Eva Taloe and Stanford T. Hovey. The following day, writers taking part will be Bessida Cauthorne White, Patti Procopi, David Cariens, Susan Williamson and Kathy Kasnik.
