Daffodil workshop at Bay School on Nov. 10
National daffodil judge Carla Stanley and members of the Gloucester Daffodil Club will lead a children’s workshop about daffodils from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Bay School Community Arts Center, 279 Main Street, Mathews.Admission is free and open to children in grades 3 and over or those accompanied by an adult.Registration is required. Writers to hold open mic reading
The Chesapeake Bay Writers will host a free open mic literature reading from 2-3:30 p.m. on this Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Williamsburg Library’s Schell Room.
People are invited to share a 10-minute passage from one of their own works, or to settle in and listen to the words of fellow writers. All are welcome. Sign up to read at www.chesapeakebaywriters.org.
