Dance recital June 14 at MHS
Diggs School of Dance will present its 2024 recital, “To Everything There is a Season,” at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 14, in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School.
Students will be performing pieces from Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” Émile Waldteufel’s “Les Patineurs,” “Shoeless Joe” from the play “Damn Yankees,” and the winter ballet.
The show will also include performances by Bayside Youth Ballet and alumni of the ballet company.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10 and will be available at the door.
First Friday performance at Village Art Colony
Local artist and musician Gary Brown will play live solo guitar and piano from noon to 6 p.m. tomorrow during First Friday at Village Art Colony, 6670 Main Street, Gloucester.
