The RAL Art Center in Kilmarnock has invited all artists aged 18 and older to enter its annual Labor Day Art Show.
The center hopes to exhibit 200 original works of art that have never been seen before, said a press release, and it plans to welcome many new, first-time artists to this long-running show, now in its 63rd year.
The show will be juried and judged, with ribbons and cash prizes awarded. The deadline for entry is Saturday, Aug. 10. Artwork delivery dates are Aug. 24-26. The show will run Aug. 29-Sept. 27, with a Fifth Friday reception on Aug. 30, when the winners are unveiled.
RAL members are encouraged to submit an entry, and non-members are invited to join and “be a part of this wonderful show.” Entry forms and payments may be submitted online at ralartcenter.com or in person at 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
