Artisan Market Saturday

The Bay School Community Arts Center will hold an October Artisan Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the gallery on Main Street.  Participating artisan vendors will have booths set up, including pottery by Clay by the Bay, local photo art by Tammy Faulkner, and more. Award-winning photographer Greg Versen, featured artist of the month, will be on hand to talk about his photography. Gauge and Grain, a show featuring art made of wood and metal, is up through Oct. 22. The gallery is full of fall-inspired wall art, pottery, photography, jewelry and three-dimensional work, said a press release. For young visitors there will be a creative project making ghosts and a new Gallery Eye Spy game. The Artisan Market is being held along with the Mathews Farmers Market. Fall into Art will be the next exhibit, Oct. 25-Dec. 3. Pictured here, ‘Roadside Market, a painting by Virginia Coyle.
