“Marsh Marigolds” by Emily Adams is among the works of art that will be on display beginning Friday in the Fantasia Show at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews.
An opening reception will be held for the Fantasia Show, featuring fantasy inspired art, from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Bay School on Main Street in Mathews.
There are 28 participating artists, many of whom have never exhibited at the Bay School before, said a press release. Entries include photography, hanging art, multimedia, collage, fiber art, glass, metal, pottery, and jewelry.
The public is invited to attend and enjoy food, drinks, art, artists, and great company, said the release. Fantastical dress is encouraged but not required.
The show runs from Aug. 25 through Sept. 25.
