Arts on Main offerings next week include a date night art experience, shown at left, and a class on creating a bowl made of wool and silk, right. Kelly Richards will lead an adult paint night for couples from 6-7:30 p.m. next Thursday, Feb. 9, at the gallery on Main Street in Gloucester. Couples will paint a beach scene on canvases using acrylic paint. All materials are provided. The cost is $60 per couple. On Saturday, Feb. 11, Janet Griffin will teach adult and teen students how to fashion a bowl from top-quality wool and silk fibers. The class will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Students will choose fiber colors from Corriedale and Romney sheep and construct a hollow container approximately 8 inches wide. The cost is $55.
