Arlene M. Whiting, 91, of Wicomico, passed away on May 10, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Whiting.

Arlene is survived by her children, Yvonne and the late Carl Lutz of Weyers Cave, Va., Sandra Glover and Edward of Selma, Ala., Roberta Pereira, Bruce Whiting and Janet of Inwood, W.Va. She has 11 grandchildren, Terri Kendrick (Angie), Kami Culbert (Sean), Andy Davis (Lona), Joshua Lutz (Sheri), Adam Lutz, Chris Pereira, Bruce Pereira (Stephanie), Natasha Wilson (James), Michael Mahoney, Bruce Whiting Jr. (Meredith), and Emily Whiting. She also has 12 great-grandchildren.

For the last 10 years, Arlene had made her home in Wicomico with her daughter, Roberta. There she enjoyed gardening, and watching Atlanta Braves baseball.

Interment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg, Va., at a later date.
