ARF holds Spay Day drawing

Feb. 28 is recognized as Spay (and Neuter) Day around the world.
To spread awareness of how spaying and neutering dogs and cats helps save lives, the Animal Resource Foundation’s Spay and Neuter Clinic at White Marsh (over 32,500 surgeries done and still counting) is again sponsoring a drawing for a free dog or cat spay or neuter surgery.
To enter, just tell ARF in 100 words or less why spaying and neutering is important. “You can tell us how it helps animals in general, or how it has helped—or could help—a particular animal,” a release stated.
Include your name and phone number/e-mail address and e-mail your entry to arfvirginia@gmail.com or mail it to ARF, P.O. Box 967, White Marsh, Va. 23183. The deadline is Feb. 28, and a winner will be drawn on March 1.
