April 29 reception to kick off Art Speaks Juried Exhibition

The Bay School Community Arts Center’s 10th annual Art Speaks Juried Exhibition will feature 59 Virginia artists and will run from April 29 to May 29.
It will open with a reception for the artists on Saturday, April 29, from 5-7 p.m. in the Art Speaks Gallery at the Bay School, located at 279 Main Street, Mathews. The public is invited to attend. Members and sponsors of the Bay School will have the opportunity to preview the show on April 28.
This year’s juror and judge is Holly Koons, executive director of the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center at Christopher Newport University. Koons selected 79 two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces to be featured in the show.
