The application for admission into Rappahannock Community College’s Associate of Applied Science Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a specialization in echocardiography program opens Monday.
In this program, students will receive training as qualified cardiac sonographers and prepare to take the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography leading to credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
RCC Diagnostic Medical Sonography program head Harsha Sharma recently held information sessions explaining the admission prerequisites, program overview and requirements, and possible career tracks upon completion of the degree.
