Antone (Tony) Medeiros Sr. passed away on April 6, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on May 8, 1934, in Bristol, Rhode Island. Tony was a Marine and relocated to Virginia in 1976. He retired from C. Lloyd Johnson Company as a salesman for military ships after 32 years. He re-entered the workforce as a bus assistant for GCPS for 16 years.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dixie; his children, Flora Brunjes (Robbie), Antone Medeiros (Gloria), Lisa Ridgwell (George), Rhonda Medeiros and Gary Medeiros; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, April 10, at Beaverdam’s Whitcomb Lodge from 3-6 p.m. Burial will be private.
