Anna Valdrighi Shaw Deagle, 75, of Mathews, Virginia, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. She was born in Richmond, Virginia, to Stephen N. Valdrighi and Josephine M. Valdrighi on October 6, 1948.

She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Deagle. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Stephen A. Valdrighi and Ralph H. Valdrighi, and her sister, Geny V. Holtz.

She is survived by her two loving sons, Charles Stephen Shaw (Amy) and James Michael Shaw (Casey), both of Mathews; two grandsons, Nathan Warren Shaw (Chesapeake) and John Stephen Shaw, both of Mathews; a stepson, Richard Deagle of New Jersey, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Valdrighi and Darlene Shaw. She was a loving aunt to 10 nieces, nephews and their families.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to her amazing caregiver, Laura Garrett, for the special care she gave to Anna.

The family received friends on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Francis de Sales Church, Mathews. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Gwynn’s Island Cemetery, Grimstead, Virginia.
