Ann Elizabeth Williams, 55, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at her home in Gloucester, Va.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., to the late Howard Francis Xavier Dunlap and Barbara Mary Dunlap. Ann graduated from Mathews High School and Thomas Nelson Community College with a degree in Computer Sciences. She worked in the Gloucester County Computer Department for 12 years before leaving that position to better spend her time raising her children.
Ann was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She had an infectious smile and knew no strangers. She loved sailing, hiking and any opportunity to celebrate life with friends and family, i.e., a party! Ann will be sorely missed by the many that loved her.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara.
Ann is survived by her mother, Barbara; her husband of 33 years, Byron; their children, Matthew and wife Jillian, Patrick and Elizabeth; her brothers, Bruce Dunlap and wife Carol, Howard Dunlap and wife Linda, Greg Dunlap and wife Elaine, Drake Dunlap and wife Kay, Tom Dunlap, Rob Dunlap and wife Tamatha, John Dunlap and wife Tina, as well as 22 nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
The funeral service was held at Bellamy United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 6, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Kenneth Waclo.
