Achilles Elementary School’s Anchored 4 Life Club has been collecting items for Helping the Homeless Ministries, including new and gently used coats, new hats, gloves and canned goods. Anchored 4 Life is an organization that helps military families transition to new schools and offer peer-to-peer support during deployments and moves. Every year the club is in charge of organizing a service project that helps the community. Members have been making posters and encouraging their classmates to donate.
