Amanda Celeste Cooper, 39, of Port Haywood, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. She was born in Newport News, Va., and was a member of the Class of 2000 of Gloucester High School. Amanda worked many years for Village Engravers, where she later became owner/operator of the business. She also worked at Miller’s Services.
She is survived by her mother, Patty Huard (Mark); father, John J. Masiello Jr.; sister, Laura Horsley (Kevin), and her nephew and niece, Hunter and Avery, and her fur baby “Mallie.”
The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, from 5-6:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to either Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, Va. 23061 or to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, 20 Duke Medical Circle, Durham, N.C. 27710. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements. Masks were required to be worn at the funeral home.
