A funeral for Alvin D. Wilson, 54, of Gloucester, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First United Baptist Church, White Marsh. He died Thursday, June 7, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ceaser Wilson Sr.

Survivors include his former wife, Denise Wilson; two daughters, Deandra Lighty and Denette Wilson; a son, Alvin Wilson Jr.; nine grandchildren; his mother, Rosa Wilson; three sisters, Phyllis Lee of Williamsburg, Vera Struba of Hawaii, and Valarie Wilson of Baltimore, Md.; three brothers, Harry, Michael and Waldon of Gloucester.

Viewing will take place prior to the funeral. The Rev. Morris Randall will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
