Pamplin Historical Park & The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier will commemorate the Allied victory over Japan in 1945 on Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with various displays and presentations.
A release said the living history event “brings to life the experiences of fighting in the Pacific Theater and the home front during World War II.”
All event activities and programs are included with regular daily paid admission. Pamplin Park is a 424-acre Civil War campus located in Dinwiddie County.
