The epidemic of measles has not abated to any extent, new cases developing daily. Although school was closed for three weeks, the disease was not retarded and few children have escaped. No fatal cases have developed and most children do not become seriously ill.

The Gloucester Woman’s Club will sponsor the Gloucester Nursing Activities work for a year, beginning in May. This course was determined upon at the regular monthly meeting of the board last Saturday. The drive for financing the work will be under the direction of the Social Welfare committee of the club. Other organizations in the county will be asked to cooperate in the raising of funds.
