All in the Farm-ily: Ware Neck operation involves three generations

Wilson Farms is a family operated business which has added two new dimensions to its services: the Wilson’s Farmer Market and home delivery service.
Thomas and Doris Wilson opened their business in the Ware Neck area of Gloucester in 2010 on 10 acres of land. Thomas, a native of Gloucester, is not new to farming. He grew up on a farm and had previously studied the hows and whys of agriculture. The Wilsons decided to return to farm life because they wanted their three children and now three grandchildren to “know how to continue providing for themselves without having to rely on store bought items and to provide for their families and “to keep the legacy going.”
All natural, with no chemical spraying, the farm produces tomatoes, squash, cucumber, zucchini, eggplant, watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, green beans, pumpkins and ‘“much more.” There is something for each season. Eggs from their free-range chickens are also available.
