Riding on the Sanders Retirement and Assisted Living float is Barbara Weldon, who was all dolled up for Saturday’s Gloucester Christmas Parade. Despite the threat of inclement weather, the parade was held to the delight of many Gloucester residents who filled the Main Street sidewalks to celebrate the Christmas season.
The Gloucester Christmas Parade had a number of winners in its various categories. In the Community and Civic Group category, The Gloucester Kennel Club and The Giving Garden Foundation took first and second places. This horse-drawn carriage from Step Up Into T.L.C. Inc. didn’t place, but was still a crowd favorite.
Audrick Martinez looks over the edge of the Petsworth Elementary School float. Petsworth and Abingdon tied for best schools entry.
