Alisa Jane Cahoon Bryan, 45, of Rodanthe, N.C., passed away Monday, April 18, 2011.
Born in Norfolk, Va., she was the daughter of Bonnie Cahoon Covey of Rodanthe, and the late Gene Stanley Cahoon of Columbia, N.C., and the step-daughter of Pete Covey of Rodanthe.
Ms. Bryan was a member of Lifeboat Community Church and a volunteer at the Food Pantry in Salvo, N.C.
Ms. Bryan is survived by two sons, Paul Collin Hancock and Charles Ian Hancock of Rodanthe; two daughters, Miranda Kaye Hancock of Brooksville, Fla., and Gina Natasha Willis of Raleigh, N.C.; three brothers, David Cahoon and wife Teresa of Wanchese, N.C., Scott Cahoon of Snow Hill, N.C., and Thomas Cahoon and wife Tammi of Wakefield, Va.; three grandchildren, Logan Gene-Christopher Willis, David Micah Hancock, and Adam Ray Hancock; and her estranged husband, Keith Bryan of Inverness, Fla.
A celebration of her life was held at Lifeboat Community Church at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011, in Salvo, N.C., on Highway 12, with Pastor Steve Simmons officiating. A reception was held at the church directly following the service.
