Ada Marie Hogge of Hayes, transitioned into heaven on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, with her family by her side, at the age of 75. She was born on Sept. 15, 1947 to the late Captain Eddie Belvin and Margaret Smith Belvin. She loved to watch her soap operas and enjoy a bowl of her favorite butter pecan ice cream. Animals loved her, and she loved them right back. Her parents and brothers, Johnny Belvin and David Belvin, preceded her in death. Ada is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph; daughter, Lisa Hogge Dent; grandchildren, David Jacob Burch and Daniel Thomas Burch, and brothers, Willie Belvin and Edward Belvin. Her devoted feline friend “Boots” also survives her. The family received friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, from 3-4 p.m. Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Richard Croxton was held in the chapel of Hogg Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Beech Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
